Lucy Costigan is an Irish writer and therapist who has been writing books for over a decade. Lucy's career has been quite eclectic, encompassing the diverse roles of counsellor and spiritual healer, IT developer and technical writer, programmes facilitator, magazine editor with Wexford Life and author. Lucy holds a BSc Degree in Psychology from the Open University at Milton Keyes, England, and Masters Degrees in Equality Studies (UCD, Ireland), and in Research (NCI, Ireland).

The topics of Lucy's non-fiction books include Harry Clarke's stained glass, complementary therapies in Ireland, women and healing, workplace bullying and harassment, social issues in counselling, an exploration of the meaning of life, and a course in developing consciousness.

Lucy's novel, 'Winter Solstice' is based in Newgrange, County Meath, Ireland, on the morning of the winter solstice, and deals with the themes of love, loss and rebirth. Her novel "The Transformation of Yvette" is the story of a woman who awakens to a new state of consciousness and awareness.

Lucy's books have been reviewed on RTE - Ireland's National Television and Radio stations, on BBC radio, and in various newspapers and magazines.

Lucy now works and lives in her native town of Wexford in South-East Ireland.
